A team’s memory.

Every company runs on knowledge that lives in a few people’s heads. SecondBrain is our attempt to make it shared, permissioned and useful.

Ask anyone in a growing company how a vendor is paid, who approves a refund or why a customer has special terms, and you usually get a name rather than an answer. "Ask Divya, she handled that." Knowledge that matters lives in a few heads, scattered threads and spreadsheets only one person understands.

That is the problem SecondBrain, AskGogo for business, is built for.

Memory first, agents second

The temptation with business AI is to start with agents that do things. We start with memory, because an agent without context does the wrong thing confidently. SecondBrain keeps one memory of how the company works: vendor terms, policies, past decisions, customer history. Every fact carries where it came from and who can edit it.

Then the agents read from it. A follow-up on an overdue invoice already knows the vendor's accounts contact, their payment terms and the tone that has worked before. A scheduling request already knows who needs to be in the room.

The question is not whether an agent can send the email. It is whether it knows enough to send the right one.

Permissions are part of memory

Company memory cannot be one big bucket. Finance sees what finance should see, sales sees its accounts, and nothing from someone's personal AskGogo leaks into the workspace. We treat these boundaries as seriously as file permissions, because a memory system that ignores them is a liability, not a tool.

Approval where it matters

The same rule from personal AskGogo applies at work, with more structure. You decide which actions run on their own and which wait for a person, and you decide which person: payments to finance, external messages to the account owner, commitments to whoever owns the budget. Each workflow ends with evidence, a reply, a changed record or a confirmation, and work that cannot be verified is flagged instead of marked done.

Where we are

We are building SecondBrain with a small number of early teams, starting with the work they repeat every week: invoice follow-ups, vendor onboarding, scheduling and answering questions from their own policies. If that sounds like your team, we would like to hear what you would hand off first.
